Huge parade in my city today of people holding signs which said "Science loves us" and "We are science" and had drawing of the earth.

My first problem is that these people are horrible at marketing - hundreds of people walking up and down main street with signs, and I can't even tell what they want from me.

Same thing was true with all those George Floyd protests, these people are filling a need to feel virtuous and impactful but their slogans and chants and signs hold absolutely zero substance. Like at least give me something actionable to work with, not just "I can't breath" over and over again.

My second problem is that the philosophy they are LIKELY advocating for (climate hysteria) is monumentally stupid. My state had the 4th highest recorded snowfall in the past 70 years and regularly gets below zero in the winter. Energy creates human flourishing and we should use more of it.
