I would love to go Bose but to get anything good in their line is more than I can manage at the moment. These are basically going to be sufficient for me to listen to things on my computer, not super regularly, and will hopefully get replaced at some point with a nicer pair. I'm not using them professionally. Although I might convince my boss to get me a nice set of monitor phones for work... Those won't be ANC though, and they'll probably be Shure since that's most of what we've got, equipment-wise.
Anyway, it sounds like you think the ANC is worth the extra hassle, so that's a good data point. Thanks!
