I couldn't get it to give me a mechanism that reduces salinity in the great lakes. There has to be an actual reducing mechanism because salinity must build up over time. It gave me reasons why the build up is slower, and made it seem like that's as far as science has gotten. But that's crazy... understanding salinity should be the most basic thing in oceanography...
