Took a mini trip to my favorite beach spot. Battery died in the van. Had to get it jumped and learned on the way home, the alternator is failing.
I made it home safely and am back to work on obtaining transcript proofreading clients.
On other fronts, I'm still trying to pick a content strategy to move forward with.
I can scale the amount of content required to post daily across all channels with AI, but all that does is give me 3-5x the amount of *rough drafts* to sit and genuinely fix and rewrite each day.
That still take real human time (hours of focused concentration), not AI time.
I'm also stripping many of my yearly subscriptions. At the end of 2024, I found that I have around 20 yearly subscriptions totaling around $3,300.
Half of those are required expenses on my end and most of that half is required for me keep my full online presence up and running. I'll be knocking the rest off slowly. To save money, I'll have to get rid of Beehiiv, the X premium subscription (buh-bye blue checkmark), and Carrd to name a few.
To reduce the amount of content to produce, edit, and other such things, I've considered only doing a video each day and only writing my stories/columns for The Stealthy Scribbler Society publication, and distributing those rather than producing 30 slightly different pieces of content daily.
