I mean you know WHY - because protecting Bill Clinton and high profile rich Americans/donors was more important than stopping fascism. Just like consolidating power and maintaining capital's control over the Dem Party is more important than stopping fascism.

If we had an opposition to fascism in the US mainstream that TRULY believed "there's nothing more important than stopping fascism" we wouldn't be in the dire predicament we're in. These folks simply do not give a shit, from Biden on down.
