Not to be an optimist, but a 4-5 point Harris win would probably be enough to flip the House and at least hold the Senate majority. There might finally be the votes to abolish the legislative filibuster, meaning real non-reconciliation legislation could finally start passing. For example, you could overturn Marbury v. Madison, legalize aboetion nationwide (with no recourse to judicial reversal), and so on.
