#WritersCoffeeClub 11/16 When did I believe I was a writer?
Not sure I ever had an exact moment where I "became" a writer. I was writing since I learned to read.
In the early pandemic, I saw a cartoon online of a guy on a lifeboat in stormy seas saying "Welp, now's the perfect time to finish my novel." I felt seen and commented as much which prompted a friend to ask to read my WIP. It encouraged me to take my writing seriously and less than a year later I self-published my first book.
