Shootingstar wildflower (Dodecatheon austrofrigidum) found in Olympic National Park along the Upper Dungeness River trail. I love the unique shape of these and the pop of purple in the forest of so many shades of green. Hoping to find more of these while backpacking this weekend, or at least hope to find something to make hauling the weight of camera gear worth it.
