My History of Science professor at Istanbul Technical University was a fellow researcher of Fuat Sezgin. In every class, he taught us about Sezgin’s work. He had been a history scholar at Cambridge University but moved to Istanbul just to work with him. His eyes would light up whenever he spoke about Fuat Sezgin. He was my favorite teacher, and it was my favorite class.
