I've been playing around with SSH in VMs some, and I found that stopping the sshd service doesn't actually kill any ongoing sessions. Is this intentional? And how is this even possible 👀? Does sshd not *fully* shut down until all current sessions are finished?
Asking purely out of curiosity.
