From my reading it wasn’t done for profit at all. However if profit was the primary motive then it would be open free market competition right?.. albeit in the category of “cheaper knock-off”
As an owner of a blockclock, i 🧡 it. As a tinkerer I love the ability to buy a kit and use it as a learning tool to extend my skills .. but i personally wouldn’t equate the two even if they’re functionally similar
