I've spent better part of today building a new bot: czech_news (nprofile…ru3t).
The bot monitors RSS feeds from around a dozen Czech news websites and checks for "big and interesting" news. It specifically excludes sports, local events, celebrity gossip, and other less important content.
For Czech Nostriches, it is a quick and easy way to get important news directly in their feed. For everyone else, especially when paired with Amethyst's auto-translations, it is a neat way to see what is being reported around here.
It's still in alpha, but I already added privacy features like the automatic removal of UTM tracking parameters.
