I actually remember thinking I couldn't possibly be doing Peabody quality work, but a lot of unbelievably good things had recently happened to me, so I got over it and believed they were serious.
I mean, it seemed ridiculous that I had been on Oprah. It seemed ridiculous that I had been in the top-corner office of a major publisher with the top executives signing not just a book deal but a business deal. Why not a Peabody too?
