Oh, that's a fucking problem. I wonder how the demographics of the two groups compare?
"[W]e did not collect demographic data, such as age or gender, from participants."
So, 5/6 of the participants didn't bother to complete the study, but, we're still comparing the average scores of the entire cohort to the (improved) average of the reduced cohort.
