According to a draft document seen by the FT, looks like the United Nations is going to come out against the use of carbon credits as a method of rescuing emissions.... while state-run schemes might sort of work, they are broadly dismissive of voluntary/non-state schemes - which (although they don't put it this way) are essentially a con & intended to mislead.
There's a lot of corporates who are going to be (politically) exploded if the report gains traction!
