I'm looking for advice about swimming, particularly from the #ActuallyAutistic community.

I've started going to my local pool and found lots of my sensory fears have been calmed with a swimming cap and goggles.

Do you have any other tips and tricks to make it enjoyable? Swim ear plugs? Something to make long hair more manageable after? Sport watches?

Basically, if you love swimming, can you explain why and what works for you?
