Update: It's been almost an entire year since one of the nerds I know has posted any AI generated art.

They got excited about it, made a gallery (with less than a dozen images) and made a (fake) web site with AI generated content, and... seems to have abandoned it all.

I guess making art is actual work, even when it's fake ass shitty AI generated art.

I'm just glad then moved on to... I dunno, something else I guess?
