Cycling east along the Neckar may sound bucolic & it is quite pretty, but in reality, you’re riding in the margins of a busy road with endless people driving at 80-100kmh past you 😬✌️
There are riverside bike paths at points, but the surfaces are very mixed & frequently unsuitable for road bikes.
Anyway, 56km to Eberbach & back, the last part in the dark & with rain, neither of which added to the pleasure 🙄
