"content": "nostr:npub18ljjwuh8vt0lrh3fe3vsefddt40u297gtsk3d4v4ywhjnvms9zfqy480hq I can usually recognize toxicity as it happens. But I have definitely stayed in *denial* about an impending end to a toxic relationship! My ex insulted everything about me and even punched me (in the arm) when she got angry enough sometimes, near the end. The punches didn't hurt much (she was 103 lbs) but I didn't really name it to myself as physical abuse until afterwards. She wouldn't dump me so I had to do it, but I didn't want to. (Turned out to be the right choice though!)",
