A new 100W amp has been pressed into service at the VU2JXN shack along with OpenHPSDR. The rig gives 500mW, I used an AFT08MS003 to raise this to 1.5W (with a 17db attenuator at the input and a 3 db attenuator at the output - what a waste of power!) connected to an MRF-101 based 100W amp which can only take an input of 1-2W. The output looks clean and the amplifier is on a big enough heatsink that it is hardly warm after a long over.
Next project is to build a housing for it.
