I made it out to Mount Diablo to camp a couple of nights. I got to the park about an hour before sunset yesterday, fully expecting the first-come, first-served campground to be full. Surprisingly, it was totally empty. Luna and I have had it to ourselves so far. A bit chilly and windy, but totally manageable.
