Nahyan bin Mubarak crowns the winners of the Fatima bint Mubarak Cup for Vaulting

Abu Dhabi hosted the 12th edition of the Fatima Bint Mubarak International Equestrian Academy, with over 300 riders participating. The Italian rider Luca Quartana won the Grand Prix Longines Main Class, sponsored by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, in a competition that saw the participation of more than 300 riders. British rider Lily Attwood won the CSI2* class, followed by Uzbekistan's Abdulrahman Firozovitch and Poland's Amelia Mysliwska. The third day of the competition featured three classes, including the Grand Prix Longines CSI2*. The event was attended by Sheikh Roudha bint Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of the Equestrian and Racing Federation, Dr. Ahmed Al Qubaisi, Assistant Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Talal Al Hashemi, a member of the board of directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Women's Sports Academy, and Saif Al Arifi, Executive Director of the Sports Development Sector at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. The event was graciously sponsored by Sheikh Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and President of the Family Development Foundation 'Mother of the Emirates', and under the guidance and supervision of Sheikh Fatima bint Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the Board of Directors of the Fatima Bint Mubarak Women's Sports Academy and President of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Ladies Club and Al Ain Ladies Club. Luca Quartana from Italy delivered an outstanding performance to win the Grand Prix, clocking a time of 41.08 seconds in the decisive round and 74.67 seconds in the first round, followed by Ramzi Al Dhahemi and Constantin Rene Jean Van Biesen. The competition also saw the victory of Emirati rider Mohammed Osama Al Zubair in the CSI2* class, and the win of Emirati rider Omar Abdulaziz Al Marzouqi in the CSIYH1* class for horses aged 5-6 years, after defeating German rider Yasen Al Zubair. In the CSIYH1* class for 7-year-old horses, the Emirati riders celebrated winning the top three places, with Hamid Abdullah Khalifa Al Mehiri taking the first place, followed by Salem Ahmed Al Sweidi and Omar Abdulaziz Al Marzouqi, who took the second and third places respectively.
