This has nothing to do with telling you who or who not to engage with, and that's a moot conversation anyway since there's no way to enforce that perceived demand.
Here are a few questions worth asking:
1. If the Fediverse is so safe, why have so few people sought safety here?
2. Of the people who sought safety here, why have so many left?
3. Why have so many marginalized people chosen to use Threads, and not a Mastodon server?
Thing is, you might feel like you've offered safety to certain marginalized communities. But from talking to many marginalized folk, they're not perceiving the Fediverse as safe.
