I remember studying the Holocaust in 8th grade history class, and I raised my hand and asked the teacher the question that nobody ever asks: Why? Why did the Germans hate the Jews? What angered them to the point that they set out to destroy them?
Teacher: Blinks several times with a blank "deer in the headlights" look in her eyes.
That's when I figured out my teachers were dopes.
Disciplinary problems ensued.
