A bit of retro history I'd like to see explored more: older open source games, especially ones that were for a while linux exclusives pre-2010. Those were pretty niche/obscure, but I remember having fun with several. Sadly, many had no money and have since seemingly disappeared. Given their nature though, I'm sure the code is out there somewhere for those able to find it.
