In adults, it presents as a cold. It is deadly to premature babies because they didn't get a chance to receive antibodies from mom yet.
There is a medication that's been around for decades called Synagis. Given to premature babies to help prevent sickness from RSV. Basically, it's antibodies. No reason to inject ALL moms. Only premees need help against RSV.
