Funnily enough, piracy on linux for steam is absurdly easy, no need for any wine fuckery or such. In the normal steam window, you're allowed to add any file to the system as program. Adding an executable file, then telling steam to use proton compatibility will have it run as if it were a native steam game. Often much better than emulation for games that have ports.
