For everyone new to the drivechain debate -
BIP300 allows for 256 of these. This particular sidechain block is not Blind Merge Mined, it is just normal merge mined, meaning that the %50+ of miners
that shared their hashrate with RSK for this block had to run a full Rootstock node to get the txn fees!
The BIPs make it even easier for miners; they don't have to be aware of L2 state or run a it's node.
Drivechain is not some unjustifiable complexity with unknown consequences being introduced. It is an advancement to the security guarantees of what is already being done. (with BMM the drivechains inherit all the hashrate at no additional costs to miners)
