A sign post for West Coast states. Get crime and shoplifting under control or start losing retail establishments (and residents). And to be fair, this isn’t so much a law enforcement issue as it is a justice system issue for West Coast states. No consequences = no incentive for criminals to stop shoplifting. Too soft on crime and people and businesses will simply exit.
