I'm a professional astronomer, but I'm really still a baby beginner amateur astronomer. My most exciting success tonight was finding h and chi Persei! And of course, the moon, Jupiter, and Saturn are amazing as always.
What was really freaky is I saw multiple satellites, with the sun too low to be lighting them: they're brightly reflecting moonlight. Ugh.
