Mechwarrior 4 Vengeance is surprisingly good. If anything, this might actually be one of the more under-rated games from the series. It's a pretty big leap forward in terms of graphics, there's tons of mission variety, and as cringeworthy as some of the video content might be, it's admirable they dedicated so much time to world-building.
It's been about 20 years since I played it so it's basically all new again to me.
