I just did this dope long-form post, and I swear I hit publish, but it’s not showing anything. 😔 Bummer… Anyway, dude, here’s the deal: I’ve been shooting for years, and phones have entered the photography arena in a whole new weight class that just isn’t comparable to “professional cameras.” They’re convenient and take good photos, but that’s on small screens and small sensors. When you want print quality or to blow it up on a bigger screen, there’s zero comparison. The zen factor of using your camera over your phone is therapy—leave the phone at home, on vibrate, or silent. It’s a distraction.Phone companies tout the “best camera”—new iPhone, new Android, whatever—advertising and marketing. They make us think it’s the best because they say so. Now, in regards to the GR specifically, it’s a fixed prime lens, so what it does, it does the best. There’s no zoom on this camera. I think you need to be very careful when acquiring a camera like this—it’s not for everyone, but I would highy recommend..
