#MAGA usually says "don't trust experts" while many of them are experts in something and would never say any rando could do as good a job as they do daily. When they push "very unconventional understandings" that just so happen to support their ideological goals, it's probably bullshit.

What they should say instead is "are we sure that the experts raised up by the media are the most highly regarded by their peers and are not just supporting that outlet's interests?"
