Perhaps but isn't it fair to say that the tools, and technologies which are intended to be optimized for a use case are a more ideal solution over building it over Bitcoin.
I could be misunderstanding what some people are saying but as far as I know there are people who genuinely believe Bitcoin can, or should replace every use case for other protocols that currently exist.
