Holy shit. I can't believe that Centrelink could make the phone experience any worse, and yet they fucking have.
There's an issue with the Centrelink app reporting on my wife's account I haven't submitted my tax return for 22/23.
Which I did, and got a refund to boot.
Can't be fixed through the app. No appropriate option in the phone tree.
When you ask for an operator, they tell you there are no operators available, and "Please update your information through the self-service Centrelinkk app. Good bye."
The kicker is when you call back... no phone tree, just "We understand that you want to speak to an operator. There is no-one available to take your call. Please update your information through the self-service Centrelink app. Good bye."
Way to fucking hit your "calls answered" KPIs, without actually answering calls.
