I nearly fainted in the supermarket yesterday. The manager got me a chair, a drink and a sandwich to eat, because as it turns out I am not the only one who is skipping meals in order to pay the bills.
He told me it happens at least once a week and it's always women. He wanted to give me some groceries to take home but I thanked him and declined. I'd rather die than accept charity.
