Luckily my friends know I'm a hoarder and let me know when their companies are getting rid of stuff.
My main house switch was a free Cisco PoE 3750G, and all my fediverse stuff is running on a free old server that's perfectly adequate for my needs 😀
I would have loved to have taken it all, but my gf is already annoyed with how many old computers I have lying around 😕
It's sad how much this stuff used to cost and how much mining and refining went into the devices, that were only used for a few years, and now they are all going to be dumped in Ghana or something 😢
