Lots of Mickylee watermelons coming in, and I've learned a new precaution about this make-use of space beneath tomato vines tactic.
Still like it, but I'll have to watch out for melons that get hidden by low tom-foliage, b/c they might start forming w/in the tom-cages, and get squeezed by the wire. Literally had to use a hacksaw to pop the cage and get this one out (too tight to get in there w/ wire cutters), although I think it still ripened judging from the tendril.
