I have encountered a difficulty in my world-building: given a race of hyper-intelligent, steam-punk, giant space ants, how do such creatures sit in chairs? What (in general) would their furniture be like? I have already considered the architecture. Since ants enjoy all surfaces of a room, every wall and ceiling is additional floor space for the smaller ants- this allows more ants to crowd together in their ovoid stadiums and spherical meeting rooms. But, how do they rest their gasters?
