"content": "The exploding radios in Lebanon appear to have been identified from photos as Icom model IC-V82 or a close counterfeit. These were made by Icom (one of the biggest high quality radio makers in the world) starting in the mid 2000's. Production maybe have ended ~10 years ago. They cover the 2m band. I once own a Icom 2m/440mhz dual band handheld and toured their facility on the Eastside once with my local ARRL chapter.\n\n#Israel #Lebanon\nhttps://files.mastodon.social/media_attachments/files/113/162/211/946/889/366/original/1748bd8fa9967ca1.jpg\n",
