I first got redpilled a few weeks before the covid lockdowns really took off. I ended up moving back into my parents' house and frequently took walks. There were lots of nice white families out walking as well as having bonfires in their backyards. It made me happy and I thought covid would be a turning point for this country (because the hope at that time was that covid would shut the US border).

For that first month of lockdowns it genuinely felt like we were closer as a country. It wasn't quite toxic yet. By April 2020 it had become a partisan debate about masks, and libtards were quick to become bitter assholes about it.
