I get that. I haven’t moved, but had a chance to work in Mexico for 6 months. I loved it, but did miss my friends and community once the novelty of a new culture wore off. I live in rural Kentucky, by the Ohio river and near the Appalachian mountains.

An advantage of staying in one place is that I have strong friendships+relationships that have spanned over 20 years. I have fantasies of starting over, but would never be able to rebuild what I have right now.
