* I'm obviously not opposed to people converting to Christianity. But from everything I've ever seen, forced or even merely pressured conversion is harmful and creates longstanding resentments. Secular institutions exist (or should exist) as an intersection of things that constituents find mutually acceptable, and to the extent possible, to live and let live with the differences.
