Can I send a router / other device to an IXP to "colocate" & BGP peer?
A:
Probably yes, but probably doesn't make sense cost-wise.
Q:
If I "only BGP" peer there; a) is this even possible? b) How would I access the device then when the BGP link goes down?
A:
The question should give the answer. If the "management" connection depended on the BGP session, the service would be useless. So I probably get "additional uplink" when I colocate somewhere.
