GTA V Online with BattlEye appeared to work after these updates (played ~60 minutes) - but then yet another small update appeared with the problem back.
ProtonHotFix works on every other attempt (?) - the controller and keyboard stopping to function.
It looks like Valve are working on the issue though 🐧 🔧 - no cooperation from Rockstar Games (at least yet).
