To clarify: I love the idea of Guix. I'm just too thick to get it. Maybe someday, but not today. And there are some things that I need that it can't do (or at least I can't make it do).
So I wrote a 400 line bash script that customizes a vanilla Debian. Just used to to migrate all my machines. Very pleased.
