Someone reminded me of this so I'm reposting it: five years ago a cool movement glitch was discovered in BOTW and I exploited it to max out the distance meter in the parasailing minigame, which requires making one smooth sailing motion along the ground from the very western edge of the game to the very eastern without taking damage or otherwise interrupting the gliding status.
This video has the full route including fifteen minutes of setup to even start the glide, with commentary and interaction with twitch chat.
