>it is a protection of youths rights as a preventative against adult control
what reasoning could lead to that though? from my understanding of what you've said so far, that would only apply if the aoc was removed without other forms of youth liberation occurring as well, which isn't my point
>those 4 bullet points
just as you said in your preface to that list, not all pro-cs share those views, which by extension implies it's not part of being pro-c (which simply means supporting a society where youth*-adult (though of course, the current concept of "adult" is used in this case, such a term would be either useless or extremely different in a liberated society) sexual relationships aren't riskier than adult-adult ones, and for them to be possible), those are things someone can believe in *together* with being pro-c (or not)
*the definition varies, see my last reply in this comment
>It creates an exclusivity to youth liberation that doesn't exist, ties it to an ideology that has anti youthlib aspects
already covered above, as such aspects are not part of the ideology in question
>Besides that, pro-c ideology is a focus on the rights of MAPs not youths.
those are intrinsically linked, as explained in https://cannibal.cafe/notice/Ae946IfX8muzbElNlw (and others)
>There are anti-cs and non MYAPs who are supportive of the reduction of the age of consent as well.
the game of telephone when it comes to different people's definition of pro/anti-c is certainly a common problem, since my exact contact stance is on the more moderate side compared to a lot of others, i tend to just use it as a base, though i do admit i don't clarify it as often as i should
i hope you have a nice day too :3
