So #today I have great news about my brother. The graft on his tongue seems to be taking and it appears that the biggest part of it will heal up and work. There may be some loss but not enough to impair speech or eating. Still early days but things seem to be going his way. He is up and out of bed, has the trach capped and can speak. He’s still getting nutrition via a tube but that was the plan anyway. Thanks so much to everyone who sent vibes, prayers and encouragement! Love to you all!
