I love love love how broken and exploitable human vision is (when it's not, y'know, causing dire outcomes) and the difference between what color *is* physically vs what color perception can be accomplished neurologically is a really neat part of that.
I also hadn't really know much of anything about op art (or minimalism or color fields or...) before i started painting and yeah it's a whole fuckin' treasure island of good stuff.
